PAD 2023: improved and simplified
In order to better meet the needs of people with disabilities and encourage them to remain in their own homes, the Home Adaptation Program (PAD) has undergone a major overhaul.
A reminder of the main changes:
- Increase in maximum financial assistance to $50, 000 per person eligible for Option 1
- Withdrawal of revenue analysis
- Simplified allocation of costs between eligible persons occupying the same home
- Processing of “homes to be built” files, now in option 2
- Non-eligibility of moving expenses
